Configure SEO Deployments
Choose an integration, configure the deployment layer, publish and verify versioned SEO changes, and roll back updates when needed.
What deployments are
A deployment is a controlled, versioned change to a specific element on a specific URL of your site. You create deployments from within SEO Core — from crawl results, the SEO Deployments view, or the AI Autopilot — and they appear on your live site within seconds, without any code changes or CMS edits.
Deployments are fully reversible. Every version you've ever deployed is stored — you can re-enable a previous version or disable the current one at any time.
No developer required
Make SEO changes independently, on your schedule. Changes go live in seconds — not sprints.
Full version history
Every deployment is versioned. Roll back to any previous value with one click if a change doesn't perform as expected.
URL-level targeting
Deployments are scoped to a specific URL and element. Other pages are untouched, and changes are surgical — you're not risking site-wide side effects.
Verification
After deploying, SEO Core can verify that the change is live on the actual page — confirming the deployment is working correctly.
What you can deploy
- Title tags — the text that appears in browser tabs and as the headline in search results.
- Meta descriptions — the text snippet shown below your result in search engine results pages.
- Headings — H1 through H6 elements within the page body.
- On-page content — specific paragraphs, content blocks, or text elements.
- Canonical tags — the preferred URL for a page, used to manage duplicate content.
- Schema markup — JSON-LD structured data that enriches how your pages appear in search results (rich results, FAQ snippets, etc.).
Note
Deployments modify specific, targeted elements. They do not affect your site's layout, design, navigation, or any elements outside the scope you've defined.
How deployments reach your site
SEO Core uses a lightweight integration layer — installed on your site once — to deliver deployments in real time. You choose which method best fits your platform:
JavaScript Snippet
One script tag in your page <head>. Works with any website, CMS, or page builder. Fastest to set up.
WordPress Plugin
Server-side deployment built into WordPress. Changes appear in raw HTML output — no JavaScript dependency.
Node.js Package
Middleware for Express, Fastify, and Next.js applications. Server-side rendering with real-time push sync.
Tip
The JavaScript snippet is the fastest way to get started and works with virtually any website. If your site is built on WordPress or a custom Node.js stack, the dedicated integrations give you server-side rendering benefits.
Creating a deployment
You can create deployments from several places within SEO Core:
From Crawler results

Find the page
In Website Analysis, browse to the page you want to improve. You can filter by issue type to find pages with title or description problems.

Edit the field
Click on the page row and find the field you want to deploy — title, description, heading, etc. Enter your new value. SEO Core shows character count and any length warnings.

Deploy
Click Deploy. The change is live on your site within seconds.
From the SEO Deployments view
Go to SEO Deployments in the sidebar. This is the central dashboard for all deployments across your project — here you can create new deployments for any URL, view history, and manage active changes.
Via AI Autopilot
The AI Autopilot can generate and stage deployments automatically based on your site's audit data. You review and approve them before they go live. See the AI Integration guide for details.
Version history and rollback
Every deployment creates a new version. SEO Core keeps the full history for each URL and element slot so you can always return to a previous state.

View version history
In SEO Deployments, click on a deployment slot to expand it. All previous versions are listed with their deploy date and content.

Roll back to a previous version
Find the version you want to restore and click Re-enable. The current version is automatically disabled, and the previous version becomes active immediately.

Disable the current version
To revert to your site's original content without re-enabling a previous version, toggle the current deployment off. Your CMS content is shown again instantly.
Note
Versions are never permanently deleted. You can always see the full history of every deployment and re-enable any version at any time.
Verifying a deployment is live
After deploying, SEO Core can verify that the change is actually visible on the live page. This is useful for confirming that your deployment method is installed correctly and that the change reached the page.
- In the SEO Deployments view, click Verify next to any deployment slot.
- SEO Core will fetch the live page and check whether the deployed value is present.
- A green check means the deployment is confirmed live. A drift warning means the live page shows a different value — which may indicate a caching issue or a CMS override.
Pausing and removing deployments
- Pause a single deployment — toggle it off in the SEO Deployments view. The original CMS content is shown immediately.
- Pause all deployments for a URL — use the Pause all option on a URL row. Useful before making major page changes in your CMS.
- Bulk disable all project deployments — from the SEO Deployments view, use Disable all. This is available for project-wide rollbacks or platform migrations.
Important
Disabling deployments does not delete them. The history and previous versions remain stored and can be re-enabled at any time.
